Hi friends!

Happy New Year!

And the One who was on the throne said, ‘See, I am making all things new.’ (Revelation 21:5)

My prayer is that we take a moment to reflect upon 2017 and realize how God was at work in our life. As we enter into this first week of 2018, how can we prepare ourselves to engage with God deeper each day? One of the questions from Sunday’s message was “Who has your ear?” Above and beyond all of the people we can listen to in life, we will grow the greatest when God’s Word has our attention each and every day. With that in mind, I’ve included a Bible reading plan for the year with the goal of allowing God to “grab our ear.”

Bible Reading Plan

Please mark your calendars for some amazing events!

We need your help! Please join us this Friday, January 5th from 2:00- 3:30 pm for pizza and set up of the sanctuary. Come fellowship and enjoy some pizza on a Friday afternoon while we set the church up for our Sunday services!

A message from the women’s group: “Please come join us January 20th at 10 am for a Women’s Brunch. Our hope is to provide an opportunity to connect as the women of Imago Dei, share our testimonies, and celebrate how God has been at work in our lives through the ups and downs over the past year. Come to talk, listen or both 🙂

Please RSVP by contacting Jessica, and let her know what tasty dish you would like to bring to share.”

Stay tuned for IDC Membership Class! We are currently in the process of developing a membership class for Imago Dei Church. The vision for these classes is to get an understanding of who we are in Christ, as a church and what that means as we journey together. For those of you wondering “why should I be a member?”, just as any family is made up of “members” the same goes for God’s family! We hope to have more information regarding this in the near future.

Lastly, as we journey together in this new year, let us shake ourselves out of the comfortable and embark with confidence into a deeper, life changing relationship with Jesus Christ! Amen!
